On June 10th, 2005 three hundred public art administrators will be touring Austin in buses as part of the Americans for the Arts annual conference. Among other spots, they will visit temporary installations by regional, national and international artists in our public spaces. The exhibition will be produced by us -- the green community of Austin: artists, architects, scientists, students, and the business community.

During the winter artists visit sites, art community and green community and make proposals

This pilot exhibition will be the impetus for the formation of a permanent, ongoing program to bring dialogue, community-building, art, science and technology together in the exploration of environmental issues and public art.
